What does “well being” mean to you?
A few responses from some of my friends after being asked this question are as follows:
“That my soul is happy.”
“Overall, my life is surrounded by friends and family and I’m good.”
“I can do what I want in life because I’m well.”
“That I’m healthy.”
“That all facets of my life (mentally, physically, emotionally) are as best as can be.”
I’m sure your answers will be as complex as you are and that’s the genius of it all. You define your well being. You get to say what that means to you!
“Well being. It’s so much more than being well.” -MyWell-Being.com
- Health – about how we move, think, and eat
- Money – how to save, earn, spend
- People – how to love, belong, and give
- Play – learn, pursue, and enjoy life
Unlike other health sites I’ve seen, they incorporate all facets of our lives including how we play, which in my opinion is one of the best parts of life!
Not only do you get access to expert articles, videos, daily tips, and self-assessments but also fun online tools to help you improve. They even offer a FREE Dummies book (no, it’s not an ebook; it’s a physical book sent to your crib and you get to choose between 3 selections) upon registration.
My Well-Being Memory Matrix
One of the things I’m constantly working to improve is my memory and supposedly our brains decide it wants to start slowing down at around 30 – BOOOOOOO!
*swallows ginkgo biloba tablet* LOL
So, as a sucker for games, I started playing the Memory Matrix game on their site and it instantly reminded me of Simon.
Y’all remember the Simon Game don’t ya? I would play for hours when I was younger!
Over to you…
