Uncommon Chick’s One Year Blogiversary – Let’s Party!

What, what!! *sings and dances*

Last year around this time, I was preparing to launch a new venture – the Uncommon Chick blog, my new baby!

I mulled around the idea in my head for months, stalling really for no reason, until I made the decision to go live on 9/1/2011 and I’m so glad I did!

Now at almost 40,000 unique visits and roughly 1,500 comments later, I am so glad I didn’t let those butterflies stop me from launching! 

I have had so much fun with this blog and I owe that all to YOU. Without you, I wouldn’t even be writing this; I wouldn’t have the connections I’ve made through meeting some of you guys who are some of the most funny, engaging, and supportive blog readers EVER and I want to say THANK YOU for helping to make this all happen! *warm hugs*

Now, it’s time to CELEBRATE and I want you to party with me. I’m excited about this milestone so much so that I have some exciting things happening on the blog in September.

Just as I like to celebrate my birthday the whole month of March (I accept early birthday presents too if you feel so inclined, wink wink), I’m celebrating this one year milestone the whole month of September.

The theme will be “Celebrating Body, Mind, and Soul – Live Different” and roughly each week, there will be blog posts and discussions about each topic culminating in a Twitter party during the last week. There will also be giveaways throughout the month to boot!

So you don’t want to miss out! Remember, this is more of a celebration of YOU helping me reach this milestone so come on and party with me!
