My Top 3 Awesomely Inspiring Videos You Don’t Want to Miss

inspired through a creative journeyDo you ever get in a mode when you just need a bit of inspiration, some motivation, and a little bit of pick-me-up?

I know I do…

Sometimes when that happens I go to my trusty bookmarks and rewatch a few videos I have saved. I even start my day this way when I’m just not feeling my best creative, inspired self. I also have a lot of inspiring quotes/stories I may review but there’s something about video that really drives home a point, stirs up the soul and gets the juices flowing!

There are 3 in particular that I watch over and over again as they put me in a productive, motivated, determined mode and I hope they do the same for you. So here they are – my top 3 awesomely inspiring videos – and they’re short!

Inspiring Video #3

If you’ve never heard of Nick Vujicic, you need to! This is a guy who was born with no legs and no arms but leads a life of NO LIMITS and he’s hilarious to boot!!

He shares his perspective on life, how to overcome challenges, and motivates people all over the world to live a happy life regardless of the obstacles life throws at you.

Never Give Up

Inspiring Video #2

“Success is getting up one more time than you’ve been knocked down.”

You’ve heard this before I’m sure but if there’s anything I know, it’s that repetition of truisms like this are good for everybody. I think it only benefits us to hear this message repeatedly to have it really ingrained in our minds.

I like this video too because at the end, it feels as if Gary is talking directly to me!

How to win in life!

My #1 Inspiring Video

I remember seeing this video a while back but until J-Ryze (Jason Fonceca from Ryze Online) shared it with me a little bit ago in his newsletter (which you should totally sign up for!), it wasn’t on my radar. Now this is the FIRST video I look at when I’m needing motivation to complete projects, simply being lazy or just need some kick-me-in-the-butt motivation!

How Bad Do You Want It? (Success)

Video Link: http://youtu.be/ok8OHYQdDDI (5:51 mins – a bit longer than the others but well worth it!)

Bonus Videos!

Here are two other videos as honorable mentions that I want to share with you guys because I think they are great for a young audience like kids and teens. Don’t get me wrong; these are simple, powerful messages we all can learn from. I just think younger people can really take to these and digest them quickly to learn some of life’s lessons. I’ve shared these with my teen niece and nephew and they have taken a liking to them as well.

Bonus #1: Running and Reading

Will Smith, after winning the 2005 Kid’s Choice Awards, emphasized the importance of running and reading as a way to develop discipline on a daily basis. Hear why Will says running and reading are important. Good stuff!

Bonus #2: Life =  Risk

This one minute video is powerful in that it can lift you up when you’ve encountered naysayers, negativity (including self-imposed), haters, or have experienced “failure.”

Premise: “If you’ve never failed, you’ve never lived.

  • I needed these videos this morning. Thank you so much for sharing them. Sometimes we all need a little pick me up! I just might have to take up running just to overcome the little voice in my head!

    Thank you again for sharing!

    • I’m so glad these helped you Sarah! Bookmark them so you can always go back and get the pick me up that you need :-)

FYI – Sometimes I wish I was a runner but my body won’t let me LOL

  • Oh, what a great share Kesha.

I believe that video #2 is the only one I haven’t seen and I’m wondering how the heck I missed that one. Oh yeah, I’ll be sharing it you can believe that. Very inspirational as well.

I have to admit that Nick Vujicic continues to inspire me. I was telling my brother about him a couple weeks ago. He’s not big on the social sites so he’d never heard of him. I’ll be sending him this video and that ought to do for a great introduction.

By the way, great chatting with you today. That was fun. Let’s do that again sometime soon. :-)

Have a great weekend oh great one!

  • Kesha, what a cleaver post! I enjoyed these videos. Especially Nick Vujcic that I have seen before but never tire of watching him. What always comes to my mind when I see his videos is “what the heck am I dissing myself for?”

I must say the last video was the most inspirational. I have heard some of the stories, but not all.

Bottom line, the inspiration drawn from these videos speaks the message to me that I can do ANYTHING!!!

Thanks Kesha, I really enjoyed this.
