Over the years, I’ve had several tarot readings, email readings, phone readings, and live readings. Oh and I even had a past life regression session just to have that experience! That was flipping crazy!! 🙂

You see, I’ve always been intrigued by psychics, mediums, mystics, clairvoyants and others who have honed their skills so much so that they can help guide someone else – similar to a coach. As a matter of fact, several of my friends – online and off – are authentic psychics and clairvoyants.

The funniest one I remember was at a trade show and included with your ticket to the show, you got a free 5 minute psychic reading. So I sat down at this chick’s table and she looked exactly how you’d think an unscrupulous “psychic” would look like (like some of the ones you see on TV!). She had 100 piercings, too much makeup, too much perfume, and just had this overall creepy feeling about her. So she started asking me questions but I flipped the script and started asking her questions (about her history, her experience, etc.). She couldn’t even answer without stuttering! LOL Wow, though it was funny I was kind of upset that the trade show I attended would allow this chick in and even offer her to us for free.

The “realest” one I remember is when the psychic told me about a surgery my mom had which I didn’t tell her about. As a matter of fact, I had completely forgotten about it. It had nothing to do with what we were talking about but she just sort of mentioned it. I thought that was interesting.

In the end, I believe we all have abilities and certainly we have our intuition to guide us (that most don’t listen to!) but if you are going to seek out a psychic, check out the infographic below to at least steer you in the right direction.

Be sure to also do your due diligence and ask for references, etc.

How to Avoid Psychic Scams (Infographic)

Must Reads:

  • Kimberly, The Fur Mom

A friend of mine found a psychic that freaked me out. I just had a bad feeling about her, but I went for a reading at my friend’s urging – it’ll be fun – it wasn’t. The psychic told me a ton of stuff that I had to keep secret; my friend had a big mouth and I found out that she tells everyone these key things. I called foul, my friend was convinced she was the real deal and invited her to move in with her and her roommate. Her roommate wasn’t happy.

It was an interesting situation, but I was thankful to be reminded that I have pretty good instincts 🙂

    • Heeeey Kimberly!!! Girl, yes, I’m glad that you are listening to your instincts. They usually don’t steer us wrong. And that does sound like an interesting situation but I’m hoping everything worked out in the end!
