The art of simplicity is a puzzle of complexity. ~Douglas Horton
Every day, it’s something. Sometimes, things pop up and we can deal with it. Other times, things knock us off our feet and leave us lying flat out cold. We are then left with the decision whether or not to get up, the where-with-all to find the courage to get up even. Sometimes, it feels freakin’ impossible. This is when the beauty of simplicity can help.
I know first hand how hard it can be to do even the slightest of things you’d normally do when you’re faced with a challenging situation. However, I know there are some things we can do to make our situation just a little bit better ourselves overall.
You see, there were a lot of challenges for me and my family this summer to the point where I looked up and didn’t even recognize myself. I knew something had to give. Something had to change. I had to do better at not just learning how to manage things during those challenging times but how to still try to take care of myself while doing so (most important!).
Afterward, I sat back and reflected on what kept me going, what kept me on my feet, and ultimately less stressed. So I documented these few things so that I can share them with you in hopes that you can take 1, 2, or all of these in consideration the next time you find yourself in a situation that proves to be difficult.

It’s short and sweet so don’t download it and let it sit on your computer or phone. It will only take all of 10 minutes to digest but I do want you to reflect on how you can use some of the strategies in your own life.
